Why I Created My Corner
I never expected separation to become part of my life story.
What I also didn’t expect was how much mental load would come with it.
Over time, I found myself managing parenting arrangements, shared expenses, school communication, lawyer emails, court documents and difficult conversations all at once. Important information was scattered across screenshots, emails, notes and messages, and I was constantly searching for things I knew I had already seen.
I was checking and rechecking details because I was afraid of missing something important. Dates, agreements, messages and decisions were all spread across different places, and nothing felt organised or secure.
What made it harder was doing it largely on my own.
There was no single place to keep everything together. No system designed specifically for the reality of separation and co-parenting. Just fragmented tools that didn’t reflect how complex the situation actually was.
I started thinking about what I wish I had from day one.
A place where everything could be stored, organised and tracked in one system. A place that could hold documents, expenses, timelines and communication in a structured way. A place that could reduce the mental load instead of adding to it.
That idea became My Corner.
My Corner is not about conflict. It is not about blame. It is about clarity, organisation and support through one of the most overwhelming transitions a parent can go through.
It brings everything into one place so you can stay informed, stay organised, and focus on what matters most.
Because no one should have to carry it all alone.
